Passive Fire Rectification in Brisbane

Fire Frog rectifies passive fire that does not meet a tested system, so the building can be certified. Most rectification work is on projects approaching handover and on existing buildings where an inspection has found breaches.

The first job is to find out what is actually there. Penetrations and joints in scope are opened up, examined and recorded against the tested systems that apply. Some of it turns out to be a compliant system that was never documented and only needs recording. The rest needs rectifying. You get told which is which, with photographs, before any of it is priced.

Then the work gets put right. That usually means removing the existing fill, bringing the opening back to a condition a tested system covers, and installing to the manufacturer's tested detail. Where an opening is larger than any seal is rated for, a fire-rated bulkhead is the answer instead. Where a plastic service has no collar, a retrofit collar goes on.

Once the work is done it is certified, which is what lets the project close out.

Do we have to rip out everything that is already there?

Not necessarily. Some existing work meets a tested system and only needs documenting. The assessment separates the two before anything is quoted, so you are not paying to redo work that was right.
